OKLAHOMA CITY – Matt Juengel had four RBIs and Texas A&M pitchers allowed only three hits as the Aggies beat Texas Tech 9-2 in the first round of the Big 12 Conference baseball tournament in Oklahoma City.

Texas A&M (37-19-1) already was leading 5-2 Wednesday when Juengel hit a three-run homer in the seventh to seal the win. He finished 2-for-3 on the day.

The Red Raiders (27-28) were stifled offensively, getting runs on Bonham Hough's homer in the sixth inning and a sacrifice fly by Scott LeJeune in the next inning.

Michael Wacha (8-2) allowed two hits and both runs in seven innings for the victory. He struck out seven batters.

Ben Flora (3-3) took the loss, allowing six hits and four runs in 5 1-3 innings for Texas Tech. He struck out six.
